We aim to complete snow removal within 24 hours of a completed snowfall. Our general rule is if it snows before 10am, you will see us that day, and if it begins snowing after 10am, usually the following day. Snow Clearing takes place 24 hours/day, abiding by noise bylaws.

Our standard snow removal service includes clearing your driveway, front walkway and steps, and the city sidewalk in front of your property. Side yards and back walkways aren’t included in the base plan but can be added upon request. All contracts include rock chip applications for traction as needed. Clients can also upgrade to our Ice Melt Service for down-to-pavement results during icy conditions.

When snowstorms bring 2 inches or more of accumulation (sometimes even less, depending on conditions), our crews perform an initial access visit to ensure you can safely leave your home. We clear enough space for vehicles to exit the driveway, plus a path to the front door and city sidewalk access. This first visit is not always a full clearing, as we need to ensure we service everyone and snow may continue falling throughout the day. Once the storm eases, you can expect a return visit the following day — and daily visits thereafter until your property is fully cleared edge-to-edge. Our priority is keeping your property safe and accessible during ongoing snowfalls, with full cleanup once the weather allows.

If you’re joining our snow removal service mid-season, all previous snow accumulation must be fully cleared before your contract can begin. If there’s existing snow or ice on your property at the time of sign-up, our crew can perform a one-time cleanup to bring it up to standard. This work is billed hourly at $84.60 per man hour, plus any ice melt used during the process. Once your property is cleared, you’ll be added to our regular route and receive the same reliable, professional service as our full-season clients.

Yes — you can safely drive on your driveway after our professional snow removal service. At JP Property Maintenance, we use precision scrapers to remove fresh tire tracks and packed snow without causing surface damage. This detailed service isn’t included every visit but is completed whenever time allows to maintain a clean, well-kept appearance.
